"Boosters that change the drop work only if the puzzles are solved in one go in all sections except the catalog of puzzles and Japanese crosswords (" special puzzles "in the menu)."

Do they work at all when solving special puzzles? Or, if I finish solving a previously saved puzzle while the booster is active, will it work? Who tried it - share your experience. Thank you in advance!
