Devils Tower National Monument is a natural monument in Wyoming, USA. It is a monolith of volcanic origin with a height of 1556 m above sea level and a relative height of 386 m. It is the first site to be recognized as a "national monument" by the United States, having received its status from President Theodore Roosevelt on September 24, 1906. The Devil’s Tower was formed from a magmatic melt that rose from the depths of the Earth and froze in the form of graceful columns.
