The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) are a fictional team of four anthropomorphic mutant turtles who learn the art of ninjutsu with their sensei, mutant rat, master Splinter. Having established their base in the sewers of New York, they fight evil on the streets of the city. The rights to the ninja turtles from 1987 to 1989 belonged to Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, from 2001 to 2009 belonged to Peter Laird, from 2009 to the present belong to Nickelodeon Animation Studio. Rafael (or Raf) is a character, one of the Ninja Turtles. Birthday August 22. His bandana is red, and he owns a pair of sai. Raf is usually quite aggressive, sullen and assertive.
