Follow the Leader is the third studio album by rock band Korn, differing from the band's first two albums in both sound and recording quality. The album was released on August 18, 1998. Sold over 14,000,000 copies worldwide, including over 7,000,000 copies in the U.S. Nielsen SoundScan 2013. Follow the Leader was a breakthrough album not only for the band, but for the style as a whole, as the further flowering of nu-metal and alternative metal was largely due to this album. The album featured numerous guest vocalists, including Ice Cube's "Children of the Korn", Tre Hardson's "Cameltosis" and Fred Durst's "All in the Family". Actor Cheech Marin performed vocals on the song "Earache My Eye", a cover version of the song from the film by the comic duo Chich and Chong Smoked, while the band's musicians play the song, exchanging instruments with each other.Solid areas: 11%
