Artist Jorge Rosensvaig. In Jorge Rosensweig’s work, a dynamically structured and rhythmically repetitive combination of color is evident. His goal is to convey to the viewer a new understanding of art and, in parallel, a creative analysis of its essence, also in Jorge’s painting, ornament is also important, which, in fact, plays a key role in his work, his task is to create a strong decorative symbolism that combines Rosensweig’s paintings with modernist paintings. Through his work, the artist creates a world of characters, usually women, whose figures are decorated with geometric ornaments, the basis of which are sensual and sophisticated forms that make up the main element of Jorge’s painting. Thus, his works turn into schemes consisting of primary colors and a natural atmosphere, symbolizing the constant search for their own way of expression. The artist uses geometric abstractions that give life to various themes, where the influence of pre-Columbian design or some elements reminiscent of Japanese art is clearly visible. However, his paintings are something more complex than just aesthetic pleasure, since the search for the meaning of the beauty of the composition and its expressive lines make the viewer try to see not only with his eyes, but also connect the mind. Modern artist Jorge Rosensweig was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, and after graduation he devoted himself entirely to painting. He received his education at the Faculty of Architecture of Piloto University in Bogota. Then he studied fine art in Buenos Aires, Argentina, returning to his homeland, studied in David’s workshop, where he became more familiar with drawing and color. He currently lives and works in Bogota, Colombia. He is a member of the Fine Arts Association in Elche, Spain.Solid areas: 0%
