Marie Louise Park
Marie Louise Park
The main city park of Seville. It is located along the embankment of the Guadalquivir River. It appeared along with the Plaza de España in preparation for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition. The land, formerly the gardens of the San Telmo Palace, where the park was laid out, was presented to the city in 1893 by Maria Louise Fernanda of Spain, and the park was named after her. Two pavilions built in the park, vacated after the Ibero-American Exhibition, are currently occupied by the Archaeological Museum of Seville and the Museum of Folk Arts and Crafts.Solid areas: 8%
