In the UK, and more precisely, in Wales, there is perhaps the most beautiful dam in the world - Craig Goch. This dam separates Kronfa Ddur Craig Gok and Penigarreg Reservoir. It was built, of course, to form a reservoir, one of the purposes of which is to provide Birmingham with water.
