Hohenschwangau Castle is a castle in southern Bavaria near the village of the same name, the district center of Schwangau and the city of Füssen, just north of the border with Austria. The romantic residence, located directly opposite Neuschwanstein Castle, was built by King Maximilian II of Bavaria. His famous son Ludwig grew up here.Solid areas: 0%
