Four bison from Bialowieza Forest. Belovezhskaya Forest is the most significant remnant of the primitive plain forest that in time immemorial spread across Europe. Today it is almost destroyed, more or less preserved only in the Belovezhsk region (the territory of Belarus and Poland).
