Arrow Escape is a puzzle where you clear the board of arrows. Each arrow is a straight or winding chain of cells with an arrowhead at one end. Tap an arrow and it crawls towards its head: the head moves straight to the edge of the board and the body follows along its own path.
An arrow escapes only if the straight line from its head to the edge of the board is free of other arrows. Empty cells do not block it. If the way is blocked, the arrow bumps into the obstacle, returns to its place and a mistake is counted: the board freezes for a few seconds, and every next mistake makes the pause longer.
There are no dead ends: removing a free arrow only makes room for the others. The whole trick is to spot an arrow whose way is already open. Every level is guaranteed to be solvable.
Levels range from small and easy to large ones with a hundred tangled arrows, on a rectangular board or a shape: a heart, a diamond, a circle, a cross, a ring or a big arrow. Use the filter to pick a level by size, shape and difficulty. Stuck? A hint highlights a free arrow.
