Block Jam is a logic sliding puzzle with colored blocks, in the spirit of Color Block Jam. Drag the blocks around the board and lead each one out through a gate of its own color in the wall.
A block slides cell by cell through empty space: it cannot jump over other blocks or turn. A block leaves the board when its whole width fits into the gate opening and the straight way to the gate is clear — then it slides out by itself. A block that is already able to leave goes out with a single tap.
The board is packed tightly, so you have to think ahead: which block to move aside and in which order to free the gates. Every level is guaranteed to be solvable and has no dead ends, and any move can be undone. There are no timers, lives or boosters — only logic.
Special elements: a block with an arrow moves only along the arrow; a block with a key opens a padlock on a gate when it leaves (the number on the lock shows how many keys are still needed); ice on a block or a gate melts after as many blocks as shown on it have left; a gray block can be moved but never leaves, and a stone does not move at all; a colored crate breaks after the shown number of blocks of its color have left; blocks tied with a rope stay in place until the block with scissors of the rope’s color leaves; a gate with a button is open only while another block stands on the button.
