For English-speaking users: the Russian title is a play of words. There is a proverb: "Лучше синица в руках, чем журавль в небе", literally "It's better to have a titmouse in hands than a crane in the sky" (= a feather in the hand is better than a bird in the air / a bird in the hand is worth two in the the wood).
