Rossini Sudoku is a variant where arrows on the outside of the grid indicate whether numbers increase or decrease in that direction. Fill the grid following standard Sudoku rules and arrow directions.

Rules of Rossini Sudoku

Fill the grid according to standard Sudoku rules: each row, column, and 3×3 box must contain the digits 1-9 without repetition.

Additionally, arrows on the outside of the grid indicate whether the first three numbers in that row or column are in ascending or descending order:

  • An arrow pointing right (⮞) or down (⮟) indicates that the first three numbers in that direction are in ascending order (e.g., 1, 3, 8).
  • An arrow pointing left (⮜) or up (⮝) indicates that the first three numbers in that direction are in descending order (e.g., 9, 6, 2).
  • A circle (●) indicates that the first three numbers are neither in ascending nor descending order (e.g., 2, 7, 4).

The arrows only apply to the first three cells in each direction, not the entire row or column.
