Но агава голубая, из которой делают текилу, выглядит не как "традиционный" кактус, а как куст с широкими листьями (типа алоэ). Также из листьев многих видов агавы получают волокно (сизаль), из которого изготавливают канаты, упаковочные материалы и грубые ткани.
