Solitaire Carpet is considered one of the easiest solitaires. Its solvability is close to 100%.

There are two varieties of the Carpet Solitaire, which consist of 36 and 52 cards. All cards are arranged in 4 rows with their faces up. To the left of each place there is a place for the map. The purpose of the Carpet Solitaire is to shift the cards so that in each row, all the cards are lined up in order from the Ace to the King.

Each row contains one suit. In the first empty cell, you can put any ace. You can put cards in other cells if the cards you put are of the same suit, but one rank higher than the card on the left. If there are no cards to the left, or there is a king there, nothing can be put in the cell. At any time, the cards can be shuffled, but it is recommended to do this only when there are no moves. For a solitaire variant with 36 cards, you have 3 opportunities to shuffle cards, for a variant with 52 cards, you have 4 shuffling options.

Shuffling is carried out according to the following rule: the cards in the deck are added one by one to each row from left to right. Then they are arranged into columns from top to bottom, starting from the left corner, but in such a way as to leave the room for the card. If shuffling does not give you enough options, you need to rewind and try to shuffle when cards are arranged differently, or to start over and place the aces in different spots. It's very often that a successful game depends on their location.
