Дымковская игрушка - один из русских народных глиняных художественных промыслов. Возник в заречной слободе Дымково. Это один из самых старинных промыслов Руси, который существует на Вятской земле более четырёхсот лет.

Dymkovo (or Vyatka) toys are moulded painted clay figures of people and animals (sometimes in the form of a pennywhistle). It is one of the old Russian folk art handicrafts.

Интересно, что это были именно отдельные фигурки.
