Hyacinths smell in the dining room,
Ham, cake and Madeira,
Smelled like springtime Pascha of the Lord,
the Russian Orthodox faith.

it Smelled of the sun, window paint
And lemon from the female body,
Inspiration-funny Easter
around the bell buzzed.

As just noticed this smell! I would also add the smell of wax from the candles. Soon, soon we will be baking cakes :)
